There's no need to worry about your child’s clumsiness, ability to use small items, run, dress themselves, manage their feelings or play with other kids

Request an initial assessment with one of our friendly Occupational Therapists

During the consult, we'll work out what's going on for your child and provide a plan to help you get the results that your family needs

Chances are you’re here because of one of these reasons:

  • Your child can be clumsy, fall or trip a lot. This causes frustration and safety concerns for you as a parent and your child.
  • Your child has difficulty with everyday play skills like catching or throwing balls, building blocks or playing with toys with small pieces. This causes frustration for your child and worries you as a parent.
  • You’re concerned about your child’s ability to sit still and find they are constantly moving around, struggling to maintain attention and struggling to understand and manage their feelings.

No matter what the reason, you are our priority and we are committed to helping your child get better, and stay that way

That’s why we do what we do

At Chatterbox we appreciate that every child is unique and different. We are here to guide you and your family and provide regular support for your child’s motor skills, attention and emotional management. Our passionate (and fun) Paediatric team collaborate with those most important in your child’s life to adapt and implement individual goals for your child. By working together as a team and following our recommendations, we will ensure that your child can achieve their goals as quickly as possible.

We are famous for our incredible results with

Getting children to move better

Getting children to play better

Getting children to understand and manage their feelings

And the list goes on....

Our paediatric Occupational Therapists are committed to empowering children and families with motor skills, attention and emotional management skills that foster learning and encourage your child to join in on activities at home and within the community.

What does a Paediatric Occupational Therapist Do?

Paediatric Occupational Therapists are trained to assess and provide therapy for children who may experience difficulties with their fine, gross or visual motor skills as well as sensory and emotional regulation difficulties. Occupational Therapists help children to participate and engage in their everyday lives.

Paediatric Occupational Therapists are trained to help children with the occupation of being a child! This means making and keeping friends, playing, building, running, jumping, being creative, listening and self care activities like getting dressed and tying their shoelaces.

Don’t wait. Early intervention has been proven to help children achieve their best both now and for later success

For some children, learning to move, play and manage their emotions can simply be hard. A parent does not cause their child to have these difficulties, but a parent who has found the right advice and support can help their child to find success and independence.
