So what is the Role?
* The Role is for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist
* We are looking to fill full-time positions in North Western Sydney (Bella Vista area), Western Sydney (Penrith and Kingswood area) and South Western Sydney (Oran Park area).
*We know that 'fit' is the most important criteria when selecting the right OT for the Chatterbox Team.
* We are looking for someone with integrity, who is honest, loyal and reliable, a real team player, who is empathetic with their families and the team they work with.
* This is a salaried role (the banks love that) and you will be offered performance incentives so you are rewarded for your hard work.
* New Graduates welcome to apply and join our 2-year new graduate program. You will have a clear career progression plan so you won't ever feel like you're getting 'stuck'.
Essential Criteria
* Appropriate tertiary qualification
* Professional registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
* Member of Occupational Therapy Australia
* Eligibility for Medicare Provider Status
* Eligibility to provide services under the Mental Health Care Plan is preferable but not a requirement
* A positive, warm, confident people person
* Experience supporting children with their sensory regulation, visual motor, social, fine and gross motor skills.
* An understanding of and skills related to, Occupational Therapy when using intervention strategies and assessment targeted at children from 2-12 years of age
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to work independently, but also work as part of a contributing member of a team.
